Allardyce, speaking after his side's 1-0 loss to Hull last night said:
"Kieron's talking to West Ham and he's agreed a deal so I would have thought he'll finish up where he needs to finish up to sort out his family problems.
"From our point of view and from his it's a satisfactory result. It's good to get a swift resolution."
It's likely that the deal involves a flat fee up front and a further payment should the midfielder complete a certain number of games, given the player's history of injuries.
