After West Ham's recent luck with injuries it will be welcome news for Alan Curbishley that the injury to his star striker is not as serious as first thought; but should he decide not to risk Bellamy, the West Ham boss may look to new signing Henri Camara who has scored four goals in his last two run-outs.
Scott Parker came through a behind-closed-doors friendly with Colchester United and a 2-1 win between West Ham and Pompey reserves without complication and could be set to play against his former side.
