"I am ready for the challenge," he told the London Evening Standard.
"As far as I am concerned there is unfinished business. I feel good. I have been away for a holiday with the family and now it's down to work.
"There is a lot to be done. Relegation was hard to take for everyone but it's a reality and we have to deal with it.
"It's been a tough time over the past few months, especially for my family, but that is all behind us now. I feel fine again and I am ready for the challenge."
