An amazing 78% of people voted that Jermain would be the top scorer, with only 12% going for last season's top scorer in the Premiership, Kanoute. Surprisingly perhaps, only a handful of votes were received by Paolo di Canio - indicating perhaps a slight lapse in faith in the former Hammer of the Year.
Joe Cole received several votes - whilst Titi Camara even managed to get a few - but these votes might be attributed to a slipped finger than a serious vote one thinks.
Kanoute is out and out the first choice partner for Defoe for the coming season, with 77% of votes, whilst di Canio is lagging with only 11% of votes. Camara picked up a handful of votes along with Sofiane - most likely in recognition of their pre-season form.
The latest vote at WestHammersFC takes a look at the defence - where work clearly needs to be done following Monday night's shambles at St. James' Park.
