Faubert Back in Action

Faubert opened the scoring for the Hammers after only 39 second in a side featuring James Collins, Luis Boa-Morte and Calum Davenport.

The Frenchman joined the Hammers in the summer from Bordeaux for £6.1 million and was injured during the Hammers' pre-season tour of Austria whilsty playing against Czech side Sigma Olomouc.

Faubert looked lively in during his spell on the pitch in a game that finished 2-1 to Aston Villa's reserve team. Former Hammer Marlon Harewood played 75 minutes before being replaced.
